Compression tap model LS-N-RS:

  • Model LS-N-RS is a compression tap  or a long pressed thread tap . Yamawa has two types, 100mm long. and 150mm long. When tapping threaded holes, it does not produce chips like  regular tapping
  • Aluminum engine blocks and cast machine parts often have threaded holes that need to be machined nearby The bottom of the hole is usually not reached by the tap so a long compression tap is used
